Missy Montgomery, PharmD
Owner and Pharmacist
Dr. Missy Montgomery studied at the University of North Alabama before going on to Samford University to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in 2004. She experienced a great opportunity to train in the Memphis area in 2009 with two of the founders of home infusion therapy. She’s found this career to be quite rewarding. In 2016, she returned to the Shoals area – her hometown – and opened her own pharmacy.
Dr. Montgomery is active in the community:
- Volunteer vice president of the REACT Coalition
- Member of Caring Connection
- Member of Shoals Chamber of Commerce
- Donor of medical supplies to Global Missions of Mercy
- Teachers College and Career class at her local church
She’s grateful for the wonderful team who works with her at the pharmacy and finds her work to be her own ministry to the community. Dr. Montgomery is proud to call the Shoals home.
Meagan Phillips, PharmD
Pharmacist
Dr. Meagan Phillips is a clinical pharmacist at MK Infusion Pharmacy. The Tuscumbia native is a 2011 graduate of Auburn University’s Harrison School of Pharmacy. She completed a residency at Piedmont Columbus Regional in Columbus, GA.
Dr. Phillips has practiced in various pharmacy settings, including 8 years of inpatient clinical pharmacy services. She is dedicated to serving her patients.
Morganne Weaver, BS, CPhT
Pharmacy Technician
A native of Cherokee, Morganne earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Athens State University in 2019. She has 3+ years of experience as a sterile compounding pharmacy technician, having joined our pharmacy in 2017.
Morganne enjoys reading, playing piano, and traveling – especially traveling to Guatemala each year on medical mission trips. She currently resides in Muscle Shoals.
Chylsea Underwood
Pharmacy Technician
Chylsea is a native of Muscle Shoals. A licensed pharmacy technician, she joined us in 2018. Previously, Chylsea lived in The Philippines where she cared for orphans.
She has a passion for helping others and enjoys long walks with her dog, Wednesday.
Amanda DiStefano
Billing Manager
Amanda joined our team in 2019. She brings 20+ years of combined experience in the healthcare and customer service industries. Born and raised in the Shoals area, she’s been married for 20+ years and has two daughters.
Dedicated and self-motivated, Amanda works hard to increase her knowledge and skills to offer a better experience for our patients.
Shawn Kennedy, RN-BSN
Marketing Director
Raised in the Shoals area, Shawn earned her BSN from the University of North Alabama. She’s practiced as an RN for nearly 20 years. She possesses an extensive background in home healthcare and critical care nursing.
Shawn spends free time with her family – husband Greg, 3 children, and 6 grandchildren.
Jodie Byrd, RN-BSN
Nursing Manager
Jodie, born and raised in the Shoals area, earned her BSN from the University of North Alabama. She has 7 years of ICU experience.
When she’s not working, Jodie may be found with her husband Bago and their 2 sons.
Susan Keeton, DNP, CRNP
Nurse Practitioner
Susan earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2011, her Master in Science Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1998, and her Bachelor of Science Nursing degree from the University of North Alabama in 1996.
She brings 20 years of experience as a nurse practitioner to the pharmacy. She’s also certified as an adult nurse practitioner and an acute care nurse practitioner. Her professional expertise is focused in the areas of critical care, cardiology, internal medicine, and hospitalist medicine.
Marc Montgomery
Chief Financial Officer
Born and raised in Mississippi, Marc is the husband of pharmacy owner Dr. Montgomery. They are the proud parents of Keeton and Mary Kate.
Marc earned a BBA in risk management, insurance, and financial planning from Mississippi State University. He owns an Allstate agency in Muscle Shoals and serves on the board of directors at Covenant Christian School.
